Captain Roy Hoxworth is a 100 ton USCG licensed Master Captain and a veteran of the U.S. Navy submarine service with over 25 years of expertise in the marine industry. During this time he has captained both sail and power vessels from 26 to 85 feet in length.
His professional capacity as a qualified captain has taken him all over the Western Hemisphere.Skilled in all facets of preventive maintenance, Captain Hoxworth has a mechanical background from the keel up including carpentry, varnish, paint, electronic navigation, and emergency procedures.
Roy has worked waters, which in include the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, Intracoastal Waterway, Great Lakes, Bahamas, Trinidad & Tobago, West Coast including San Diego, Cuba, Florida Keys and Mexico.
He is available for full time, provisional, contract and yacht delivery.
Captain Hoxworth also provides new owner orientation using the "Hands On" methodology.
